Fintech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Enterprise Sales with expertise in solution selling to join our growing sales team. This individual will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and nurturing high-value enterprise prospects, driving sales cycles from discovery to closing, and building lasting relationships with key decision-makers. The ideal candidate will possess a consultative sales approach, excel in understanding complex client needs, and be able to craft customized solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
Essential Functions:
- Prospect & Lead Generation:
- Identify new enterprise-level business opportunities through cold calling, networking, industry events, and leveraging current customer relationships.
- Create a database of prospects and target customers with complete contact information.
- Conduct systematic market research to generate high quality leads and identify key players.
- Engage directly with decision makers in procurement, operations and finance with a focus on Enterprise Retail businesses.
- Establish and execute a pipeline strategy for achieving sales targets through the appropriate stages of the sales cycle within your assigned client base.
- Solution Selling:
- Utilize a consultative approach to understand the client’s business challenges, technical requirements, and long-term goals in order to position tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
- Produce clear, concise proposals with an appropriate level of detail that identify client needs, current workflow(s), the right offerings and commercials.
- Sales Cycle Management:
- Manage the entire sales process from lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure. Drive engagement with multiple stakeholders within target organizations, including C-level executives, IT leaders, and other key decision-makers.
- Balance engagements across the sales life-cycle to maintain desired pipeline levels for long, medium, and short-term sales.
- Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring a strong understanding of their evolving needs and positioning future solutions that drive ongoing success.
- Product & Market Expertise:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Fintech Data Platform, InfoSource. We expect you will be able to articulate the benefits to customers and prospects in order to expand our footprint and strengthen the overall relationship by driving home the value in leveraging InfoSource as their primary data source for all their data needs.
- Conduct web product demonstrations encompassing both technical and non-technical aspects of the product capabilities.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and to tailor solutions based on feedback and market needs.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update CRM systems with relevant account and opportunity information.
- Achieve and report on key metrics and performance indicators.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and sales techniques to maintain a competitive edge in the market. Supported by in-house training and support, you will become an subject matter expert in our clients overall value proposition, products and tools.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in Enterprise Sales (10+ years) with a focus on solution selling in a B2B environment.
- Expertise in managing long sales cycles with complex, high-value deals.
- Strong understanding of enterprise-level challenges in the CPG or Supply Chain space and the ability to craft solutions that address customer pain points.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with demonstrated experience selling complex business applications/technology solutions at the C-Suite level
- An ability to leverage product and domain knowledge to build and maintain credibility with clients, identify gaps and recommend solutions
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and a strong desire to exceed demanding targets
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and other sales enablement tools to manage pipeline, and knowledge of how to use and interpret CRM data to drive better performance.
- Ability to work independently, yet collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Adult beverage/3-tier industry experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience at an Enterprise software/SaaS organization
