Sales Manager- Direct Sales

We are looking for a competitive Field Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. Your job as a Sales Manager is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective clients.
  • Reach out to leads in line with SalaryBox guidelines and communicate organisation’s value proposition to prospects.
  • Pitch, follow-up and close leads with discipline regularly.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.

 Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 Years proven track record in business sales or related market.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software.
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements.
  • Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner.
