Sales Manager- Direct Sales
We are looking for a competitive Field Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The successful salesperson
will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. Your job
as a Sales Manager is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or
services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new
contacts.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Research prospective accounts in targeted
markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
- Present, promote and sell products/services
using solid arguments to existing and prospective clients.
- Reach out to leads in line with SalaryBox
guidelines and communicate organisation’s value proposition to prospects.
- Pitch, follow-up and close leads with
discipline regularly.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes
within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and
other departments.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of
existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive
business and customer relationships.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional
trends.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 Years proven track record in
business sales or related market.
- Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis
on priorities and goal setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and statistical analysis software.
- Superior presentation and communication
skills, both written and verbal
- Technical skills required to understand and
propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements.
- Ability to communicate information, whether
technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and
concise manner.
