Our systems feature the world’s first commercial-ready Immersion Cooling solution, ensuring safety, reliability, and superior performance. As we expand our presence in the US, we are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with a strong electro-mechanical background to join our team. This role is critical in driving sales growth and leveraging technical expertise to deliver solutions that meet customer needs in the energy storage industry. JOB SUMMARY: The Technical Sales Engineer supports the sales process by ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer requirements. This role bridges the gap between technical knowledge and customer needs, working closely with the sales team to present tailored BESS solutions that meet both commercial and government standards, including FAR, UFC, and UFGS requirements. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, innovative professional with a passion for energy technology and a proven ability to lead complex technical projects to successful completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a technical resource during the sales process, providing in-depth knowledge of BESS products and solutions.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training for prospective clients to show case BESS capabilities and benefits.
  • Ensure proposals and product specifications align with customer requirements and regulatory standards, including FAR, UFC, and UFGS for government clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and proposal teams to create tailored BESS solutions that meet unique customer needs and project specifications.
  • Assist in drafting technical sections of RFP responses, ensuring compliance with government and industry standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BESS technology, industry trends, and competitive landscape to support the sales team's strategic objectives.
  • Provide post-sale technical support to ensure smooth deployment and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for understanding and supporting project delivery requirements, including timing and specific customer deliverables.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA's)

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role, ideally within energy storage, renewable energy, or a related technical industry.

PREFERRED KSA's

  • Strong understanding of BESS technology and applications, with knowledge of FAR, UFC, and UFGS compliance requirements for government projects.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) preferred, not required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 20% travel to customers and partners
